From screen to paper trail
PNG is the screen-capture format: screenshots, app exports, diagrams and receipts from online purchases all land on your disk as PNG. The moment that capture needs to enter a formal process, an expense report, a visa application, a court filing, a homework portal, PDF becomes mandatory. This conversion is the bridge between "I have it on my screen" and "it is now a document", and since screenshots frequently contain account numbers and personal data, doing it without uploading anything is not a luxury.
One image, one page, faithful proportions
Each PNG becomes a single-page PDF whose page matches the image's aspect ratio: tall receipts stay tall, wide dashboards stay wide, nothing is letterboxed onto A4. That behavior is deliberate. Documents made from screen content read best at their native shape, and the systems receiving them care about the format, not the paper size. Shooting photos on an iPhone instead? Convert them directly with HEIC to PDF, or extract pages back out of any PDF with PDF to PNG.
Common questions
What happens to transparent backgrounds?+−
They become white. PDF pages are conceptually paper, and the embedded image is flattened onto a white page, which is almost always what a document destination expects. If you need the transparency preserved for design work, keep the PNG and convert only the copy being submitted.
Will text in my screenshots stay sharp?+−
Yes. The image is embedded at high quality and the page is sized to the image, so nothing is rescaled or squeezed. A full-HD screenshot becomes a PDF page with the same proportions, and text remains as readable as the original capture.
Why do submission systems reject PNG but accept PDF?+−
Document workflows standardize on PDF because it prints predictably, supports multiple pages and cannot be casually edited. Assignment portals, applicant tracking systems and government forms often enforce PDF-only rules even for content that started life as a screenshot. This tool satisfies the rule in one step.
Is there a size or quantity limit?+−
No artificial ones. Your device does the work, so we impose no daily caps, no batch limits and no premium tier. Phones process large batches one file at a time to stay within device memory, so a big batch simply takes a bit longer on mobile.
