Yes. The existing conversion engine runs locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Your photos stay on your device throughout conversion.
Is it really free? Even for a whole batch?+
Yes. There are no daily caps and no account is needed. Your own device handles the work; very large batches may take longer depending on available memory.
Will my photos lose quality?+
PNG output is lossless. JPG and WebP use adjustable compression, with the original 90% default quality. You can change the quality before converting.
Why are my iPhone photos in HEIC format?+
HEIC stores photos efficiently, but some websites and apps require JPG or PNG. Converting helps your photos work in more places.
Can I use it on my phone or iPad?+
Yes. Choose photos from your device, convert, and download. On iPhone and iPad, downloads usually go to Files; Save to Photos appears when sharing is supported.
