Your photos

We never receive your photos. All conversion happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly and browser APIs. Files you select are read by your own device, converted by your own device, and saved by your own device. They are not uploaded, transmitted, logged or stored by us, and we could not access them even if asked. You can verify this by using the site with your internet connection disabled.

What we do collect

The site is served as static files from a content delivery network (Cloudflare), which processes standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent to deliver the pages and protect against abuse, as described in Cloudflare's own privacy documentation.

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited and how visitors interact with the interface. These tools collect usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and interaction patterns, as described in Google's and Microsoft's privacy policies. What they can never see is your files: photos are read and converted inside your browser's local memory and are not part of any analytics data, page content or network request.

Cookies

The converter itself sets no cookies and requires no account. If we introduce optional preferences (such as a saved quality setting), they are stored in your browser's local storage and never transmitted.

Advertising

The site currently shows no ads. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and any ad provider will never have access to your files, which remain on your device by architecture.
