The service

My Photo Converter provides free, in-browser image conversion tools. Because processing happens on your device, you retain full possession and control of your files at all times; we never receive them.

Acceptable use

Use the tools for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it abusively, or misrepresent it as your own product.

Your content and your responsibility

You keep all rights to your images. Because processing happens entirely on your device, your files are never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted through our servers. A direct consequence: we do not, and technically cannot, access, review, moderate or filter the files you process. These tools have no content-scanning mechanism, in the same way that image software installed on your computer has none.

Full responsibility for the files you process therefore rests with you. You must have the legal right to use and convert each file, and you must not use these tools in connection with any unlawful material, including content that infringes copyright and, without limitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), whose possession and processing is a serious crime in virtually every jurisdiction. Using a locally-running tool does not shield unlawful conduct: liability for such material lies entirely with the person who possesses and processes it.

No hosting, no takedown surface

Notice-and-takedown procedures (such as DMCA notices) apply to services that host user content. We host none: there is no user-uploaded content on our infrastructure to review or remove. If you believe content on our own web pages infringes your rights, contact us at the address below and we will review it promptly.

Disclaimer of warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We work to make conversions accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee fitness for any particular purpose. Keep your originals; conversion never deletes them, and you should verify results before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.
